The initial batch of Boro 150 shirts have sold out in adult sizes within an hour of pre-orders being made available. The navy shirt and darker blue shorts hark back to the earliest days in the club’s history, and are being sold as limited edition. An initial order for the limited edition shirts was made with our official kit supplier, Castore, in September 2025, which is standard practice, with 1,876 chosen as a nod to the year of the club’s formation. Following the high demand for the club’s 2026/27 home and away kits, which went on sale in July, we anticipated that the initial run of shirts for our 150 kit would not meet demand. As a result of that, we submitted a top-up order with Castore to arrive at the earliest possible time. These shirts will be available by the end of November. The club appreciates that supporters are keen to secure their shirts as soon as possible, and we will set up a pre-order for the second batch in the coming days. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank fans for their continued support, understanding and patience. Lee Fryett, Middlesbrough FC’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Demand for our replica shirts this season has been unprecedented, which is testament to our supporters’ incredible backing. This is greatly appreciated and not taken for granted. “The club’s shirt sales for this season will almost double in volume anything we have previously experienced, and we understand that the demand has outstripped the supply. Top-up orders were also placed as soon as possible for our home and away shirts, which are due in the coming months. “This demand has been recognised in our orders for the 2027/28 season, and I am working closely with our retail team to ensure demand is met in future.” Several children’s sizes continue to be available for pre-order at shop.mfc.co.uk.
