Doncaster-based business Cartonplast UK has become a Bronze Partner of Club Doncaster and front-of-shirt sponsor of the Doncaster Belles Academy, strengthening its commitment to the local community as it celebrates 25 years in the UK. The partnership will see Cartonplast’s branding on the front of Doncaster Belles Academy shirts, supporting the development of young female footballers and helping provide opportunities for the next generation of talent. The sponsorship marks another milestone for Cartonplast UK, which was founded in South Yorkshire and has remained based in Doncaster for more than 25 years. Cartonplast UK provides reusable transport packaging solutions and pooling services to manufacturers across the food and beverage industry. Its circular business model enables packaging such as reusable layer pads, plastic pallets and top caps to be collected, washed, inspected and reused, helping customers improve efficiency while reducing waste. The company’s local investment has also continued to grow, with Cartonplast opening a new 31,000 sq. ft warehouse in Rotherham in 2023, creating 20 new local jobs. The Doncaster Belles Academy plays an important role in developing young female footballers, supporting players both on and off the pitch while helping to grow the women’s game at grassroots level.
