MVC Group, the owner of Castelli and Sportful, has acquired Bristol-based bikepacking gear maker Tailfin, which makes bags, racks and accessories and owns more than 20 patents on its in-house technologies. The deal gives MVC access to Tailfin’s strong roughly 50% average annual growth (nearly €10m revenue in 2025, with over half from the US, UK and Germany) and expands MVC’s cycling portfolio and global reach into 75 countries.

If the proprietary tech wasn’t enticing enough for MVC Group, Tailfin’s company has also achieved an average annual growth of approximately 50% and it reached almost €10 million in revenue in 2025.
