Foxtel Group Executive Director of Commercial Sport Adam Howarth said the partnership helps strengthen the talent pathways that underpin the national game. “Adding VFL coverage to our extensive AFL and AFLW line up on Kayo SPORTS and FOXTEL supports the talent and pathways that underpin Australian football.” The ABC will also broadcast one final in each of the first three weeks of the VFL Finals Series, along with both preliminary finals and the Grand Final. - Advertisement - The deal had been widely rumoured for weeks, with the VFL tipped to return to ABC screens for the first time in 12 years after Seven opted not to renew its broadcast partnership with the competition earlier this year.
