The company will become the Official Payments Partner of MetLife Stadium, the New York Jets, the New York Giants, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United and Atlanta’s newly awarded National Women’s Soccer League expansion team, which is set to begin play in 2028. The agreements build on partnerships announced last year between American Express, Hard Rock Stadium and the Miami Dolphins. As part of the deals, both MetLife Stadium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium will join the American Express Venue Collection™, a program offering eligible American Express Card Members access to a range of benefits at participating venues. Those perks include access to Amex Presale Tickets® for select events, the opportunity to enroll in offers to earn statement credits on qualifying concession purchases and other exclusive experiences throughout the stadiums. Card Members will begin accessing these benefits at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the upcoming spring event season, while MetLife Stadium perks are expected to launch ahead of the 2026 NFL season. Advertisement Elizabeth Rutledge, Chief Marketing Officer at American Express, said the partnerships reflect the brand’s continued investment in sports and live entertainment experiences. “Recognizing the importance of sports and music fandom we are creating even more value for our customers across moments that matter to them through these new partnerships,” Rutledge said in a press release. “The new stadium and NFL team partnerships in the New York, Atlanta and Miami areas further cement our role as a leading payments partner in sports and entertainment, while continuing to expand our presence in football.” MetLife Stadium President and CEO Ron VanDeVeen said the partnership will focus on improving the overall fan experience at one of the busiest venues in the country. “We value American Express’ customer-first philosophy, and we look forward to a wonderful collaboration that will enhance the fan experience through exclusive benefits and meaningful experiences that American Express is renowned for,” VanDeVeen said. “The New York Giants, New York Jets and MetLife Stadium are honored to welcome American Express as a partner.” Advertisement Nana-Yaw Asamoah, Chief Commercial Officer of AMB Sports and Entertainment, which operates Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, said the partnership aligns with the organization’s focus on delivering premium fan experiences. “American Express is one of the world’s most respected brands, known for service, innovation and putting customers first,” Asamoah said. “Those values align perfectly with our commitment to delivering world-class experiences at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and across our teams.” The new agreements further expand American Express’ global sports and entertainment sponsorship portfolio, which spans football, soccer, basketball, tennis, golf, motorsports, hockey, music and theater.
