Supporters attending Town Women fixtures at the JobServe Community Stadium will now be allowed to drink alcohol in view of the pitch. As part of our continued efforts to enhance the matchday experience at home fixtures, alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase throughout the rest of the campaign, starting with the home fixture against Sunderland on Sunday, 25 October. The decision comes following a successful Fan Choice trial across Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Super League 2 clubs during the past two seasons. Supporters will be able to drink in blocks E4 and E5, and the whole of the West Stand, while blocks E3 and E6 will remain alcohol free. Unlike men’s football in the United Kingdom, the women’s professional game is not covered by legislation in the Sporting Events Act 1985 which prohibits the consumption of alcohol in view of the pitch. Match tickets for Town’s upcoming home league games against Sunderland and Bristol City will be back on sale at midday on Monday, 12 October. null null Information for existing E4 and E5 ticket holders Supporters who have already purchased tickets in blocks E4 and E5 for the Sunderland game, or who hold a season ticket in these areas, will be able to retain their existing seats. However, we appreciate that some supporters may prefer to watch our matches in an alcohol-free environment. Existing ticket holders who would prefer to relocate to another area of the stadium will have the opportunity to do so by contacting the ticket office mainticketoffice@itfc.co.uk by 4pm on Friday, 9 October. Similarly, supporters who have already purchased tickets in other areas of the stadium and would prefer to enjoy alcoholic drinks from their seats can request to relocate to blocks E4 and E5 in the East Stand.
