By Aashay Khandelwal September 14, 2026 WhatsApp Linkedin Facebook X Telegram Codere Online taps NFL to strengthen position in Mexico Codere Online has signed a multi-year agreement with the National Football League (NFL) to become its official betting partner in Mexico, giving the operator commercial rights across the league and two of its biggest properties in the market. Under the agreement, Codere Online has also become an official partner of Super Bowl LXI, the NFL Mexico Game and an official sports betting sponsor. The partnership will include hospitality programmes, VIP experiences, activations across multiple Mexican cities and opportunities involving official NFL merchandise. The agreement arrives ahead of the NFL’s return to Mexico for a regular-season fixture. The San Francisco 49ers will face the Minnesota Vikings at Mexico City’s Estadio Banorte on November 22, 2026, with Codere Online serving as a sponsor of the event. The operator will also have a presence around Super Bowl LXI, which is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles in February 2027. Carlos Sabanza, Director of Sponsorships and Public Relations at Codere Online, said, “This agreement strengthens our premium positioning while underlining our long-term commitment to Mexico, a market with an extraordinary passion for the NFL. Together, we look forward to creating distinctive experiences that bring fans closer to the game and further enhance our sports betting and entertainment offering.” Arturo Olivé, Managing Director of NFL Mexico, added, “We are pleased to welcome Codere Online, one of Mexico’s most established and recognised online gaming and sports betting operators, as a partner. Together, we will elevate the fan experience through innovative activations, exclusive opportunities and unique moments that bring supporters closer to the NFL.” The deal is particularly significant given the importance of Mexico to Codere Online’s business. The company generated €36.1 million in net gaming revenue from Mexico during Q2 2026, up 24% year-on-year. Mexican net gaming revenue reached €70.6 million during the first half of 2026, representing 19% growth compared with the same period last year. For the NFL, the partnership strengthens its commercial presence in one of its most established international markets. The agreement provides Codere Online with a year-round platform spanning the NFL season, the Mexico City Game and Super Bowl LXI, while strengthening its premium positioning in a strategically important market.
