Georgia Tech Extends 42-Year Paciolan Ticketing Partnership Ahead of Stadium Reseating Home » Georgia Tech Extends 42-Year Paciolan Ticketing Partnership Ahead of Stadium Reseating By Alton Beall 15 minutes ago Georgia Tech athletics has renewed its ticketing agreement with Paciolan , extending a relationship that dates to 1984 while expanding its use of the company’s data, fundraising and venue-entry technology. Paciolan has served as Georgia Tech’s ticketing platform provider for 42 years and also supplies the athletic department with marketing, fundraising and data analytics services. Georgia Tech said it has sold out 65 events since the beginning of the 2025-26 athletic seasons, including three concerts at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field, while generating record ticket-sales and donation revenue. Under the continued relationship, Georgia Tech has begun using Paciolan iQ, which combines ticketing, fundraising and consumer information in a centralized database. The platform can be used to segment fans and personalize marketing based on past purchases and other customer data. Georgia Tech is also using PAC io Fundraising to connect donor management with its ticketing operation, along with PAC io Entry , Paciolan’s venue-access platform. The entry system supports NFC contactless admission and gives operators real-time information including entry alerts and heat maps showing activity at access points. Advertisement The renewal also comes ahead of a significant ticketing project at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Georgia Tech plans to use Paciolan’s Ballena Seats 3D technology as it carries out a full reseating of the stadium for the 2027 football season , allowing season-ticket holders to visualize available seating before making their selections. The reseating is required as part of a $70 million renovation of the stadium, which will include 12,500 permanent chairback seats, wider aisles, new handrails and an overhaul of premium areas. It will be the first full reseating at Bobby Dodd Stadium since its previous major renovation in 2003. Georgia Tech expects the renovated stadium to retain a capacity of approximately 50,000, rather than the roughly 42,000 contemplated under an earlier design. The school has said most season-ticket holders should therefore have an opportunity to remain in or near their current locations. Current season-ticket holders have until Dec. 31 to commit to 2027 tickets, with seat-selection priority determined by Alexander-Tharpe Fund Priority Points as of the same date. Individual selection times will be distributed in late January before online seat selection begins in February. Advertisement Georgia Tech said 2027 season-ticket prices and TECH Fund commitments for non-premium bowl seating will remain at 2026 levels. The school and Paciolan did not disclose the length or financial terms of the renewed agreement.
