Hull FC Announce Macron As New Technical Partner

Hull FC are delighted to announce a new technical partnership with Italian sportswear and apparel brand Macron. The long-term agreement represents a major step-forward for the Black & Whites, as Macron partner with their first UK-based Rugby League side in 2027 and beyond. Macron will supply kits and training and leisure wear collections across the entire club, including our Men’s, Women’s Wheelchair and Centre of Excellence sides, as well as for the Hull FC fan base. As part of the announcement, the club are delighted to unveil their 2027 Principal Training Range – the largest range ever produced by the club – available online now at hullfcshop.com , and in store from 9.00am on Saturday. The agreement marks another step in Macron’s international growth in a sport in which the brand has established a prominent position over the past half-century, working with major federations, competitions and clubs around the world. The iconic Italian brand, who pride themselves on innovative design, superior quality, and cutting-edge technology, was founded in Bologna in 1971, beginning as a local sports goods store. In the 1980s, it evolved into a small manufacturing company producing apparel for leading sports brands of the time, such as Champion. In the 1990s, Macron launched its own brand, while continuing third-party production. The turning point came in 2001 with the first technical sponsorship of a professional football club: Bologna FC 1909. That partnership marked the beginning of Macron’s expansion in professional sports, spanning multiple disciplines. Today, Macron is the official technical partner of over 100 professional clubs, national teams, and sports federations in more than 25 countries. Macron’s family of clubs and organisations across Europe include Catalans Dragons, Crystal Palace, Northampton Saints, the Italian, Scottish and Welsh national Rugby Union sides, and the Lamborghini, Ducati and Yamaha motorsport brands. Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, commented: “We are very proud to begin this partnership with Hull FC – a club with a prestigious history and deep roots in the tradition of Rugby League. “The sport is a fundamental part of Macron’s DNA and, over the years, we have built a significant international presence through partnerships founded on trust, quality and a shared vision. “Working with Hull FC gives us the opportunity to put our technical expertise and design capabilities at the service of a club with such a strong identity, celebrating its history and its connection with its fans. We look forward to starting this journey together.” Hull FC Chief Executive Richie Myler, added: “This is a significant announcement for the club, and we are delighted to team up with an organisation that shares our values and ambition. “An immediately recognisable brand, Macron deliver the highest quality products in both design and appearance for both athletes and supporters alike, and we’re excited to see their badge sit alongside ours over the coming years as part of a fruitful and prosperous partnership. “Macron is building an impressive network of partners across sport – we are proud to now be a part of their family, and we are looking forward to sharing their first collections and designs with our supporters over the coming weeks.”
