Jack in the Box is partnering with The Simpsons for a limited-time "Treehouse of Horror" menu that brings in-show items like Krusty Burger, “D’oh!nut” holes, a smoky “Spooky Simpsons Sauce,” and a “Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror” to restaurants, bundled individually or in a “Munchie Meal of Horror” with collectible glow-in-the-dark cups and themed packaging. The collaboration leverages the brands’ shared irreverent humor to create a promotional tie-in aimed at driving traffic and merchandise appeal during the Halloween season, according to the chain’s chief marketing officer.
News QSR & Restaurants Jack Box meets The Simpsons family in Halloween partnership By Aaron Baar September 16, 2026 Jack in the Box will be a part of The Simpsons’ annual “Treehouse of Horror” extravaganza this year, with a limited-time menu lineup inspired by the program’s many food references. The promo includes burgers inspired by the show’s in-world Krusty Burger fast food chain, “Doh!nut” holes (named after Homer Simpson’s iconic expression),” a “Spooky Simpsons Sauce” and custom packaging that integrates the QSR chain’s Jack Box character into the animated Simpsons world. The menu items will be available separately or as part of a “Munchie Meal of Horror,” which also includes one of six glow-in-the-dark Treehouse of Horror cups. The collaboration runs deep with Jack in the Box bringing the in-show food to the real world with the iconic Krusty Burger (served on custom sesame seed buns inspired by those seen in the show) and a smoky BBQ ketchup “Spooky Simpsons Sauce.” The menu also includes a “Double Chicken Sandwich of Terror” and the previously mentioned D’oh!nut holes, which were inspired by a segment where Homer sold his soul to the devil for a doughnut. (The treats include pink frosting and sprinkles much like the doughnuts found in The Simpsons cartoon world.) The products can all be found in a “Munchie Meal of Horror” that also includes one of six special-edition glow-in-the-dark cups inspired by Treehouse of Horror episodes and characters, including Hugo (Bart’s evil twin) and Kang and Kodos (two aliens who traditionally appear in the Treehouse of Horror episodes). The meal also includes special packaging including a box that features characters and Easter eggs from past Treehouse of Horror episodes. The Simpsons’ annual Treehouse of Horror special is a fan-favorite program, featuring Halloween and horror-themed segments based on popular culture. Partnering with the show was a natural fit, according to Jack in the Box’s chief marketing officer Katelyn Zboroski . “The best collaborations start with understanding what excites our fans, and we know The Simpsons has a special connection with Jack guests,” Zborowski said in a statement. “Jack and The Simpsons share an irreverent sense of humor, and Treehouse of Horror has put its own twisted spin on Halloween for decades.” Related Content See all News Retail Wayfair delivers new brand platform By Aaron Baar News Retail On unveils three-year plan targeting $7B in sales by 2029 By Dianna Dilworth News CPG Cheez-It offers comfort for the armchair analysts By Aaron Baar News Retail Gap’s new fashiontainment platform signs boy band By Dianna Dilworth
