Kings, Reign Partner With Vet Tix to Deliver Free Hockey Tickets to Military Families Home » Kings, Reign Partner With Vet Tix to Deliver Free Hockey Tickets to Military Families By Olivia Perreault 7 months ago AEG and Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) have announced a new multiyear, mission-driven partnership with the NHL’s LA Kings and the AHL’s Ontario Reign aimed at expanding access to professional hockey for veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, and their families across Southern California. Brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, the agreement makes Vet Tix an official partner of both hockey franchises and marks the organization’s first-ever partnership with a professional hockey team. Through the collaboration, thousands of complimentary tickets will be distributed to LA Kings and Ontario Reign games, providing opportunities for members of the military and first responder communities to enjoy live sports experiences that promote connection, stress relief, and family bonding. “Because of this exciting partnership, local veterans, service members, first responders, and their families are able to experience hockey and create memories that will last a lifetime,” said Vet Tix Founder and CEO Michael A. Focareto III, a U.S. Navy veteran. In addition to ticket access, the partnership includes collaborative digital storytelling across team platforms, in-arena commercial spots at Crypto.com Arena and Ontario Reign home games, and potential playoff ticket access through Vet Tix should the LA Kings qualify for the NHL postseason. Ontario Reign President and LA Kings Chief Revenue Officer Darren Abbot echoed the sentiment, noting that the initiative aligns with the organization’s long-standing support of the military and first responder communities.
