Limited Edition 150 Kit Available From Wednesday

Boro's limited edition 150 Kit will be available to pre-order from 12 noon on Wednesday. The navy shirt and darker blue shorts hark back to the earliest days in the club's history, and will be worn as a one-off in Boro's 150 celebration fixture against Wolves in October. These are the colours adorned by the first-ever Boro team way back in 1876, as cricketers from Middlesbrough CC dyed their whites blue and took up the burgeoning new sport for the winter months. This tonal Castore kit mimics those early threads worn by a truly trailblazing Boro side, and also includes the words of William Gladstone, branding Middlesbrough the 'Infant Hercules', on the inside bottom hem. There will be an initial run of 1,876 shirts, with more to follow later in the year to a total of 3,000. A special presentation box will be included in each purchase as well as an authenticity card with a unique shirt number. Pre-orders will be available ONLINE ONLY at shop.mfc.co.uk from midday on Wednesday 23 September.
