ADVERTISEMENT NAB 2026: NAGRAVISION and Harmonic Launch Watermarking-as-a-Service for Live Event Streaming Posted on: April 17, 2026 • 2 minute read NAGRAVISION and Harmonic have announced a watermarking-as-a-service solution for live event streaming, extending an existing partnership. The solution integrates Harmonic’s VOS 360 Media SaaS platform with NAGRA NexGuard forensic watermarking and is available as an upgrade for existing VOS 360 customers or as part of the NAGRA Streaming Security solution. Harmonic will be at NAB Show 2026 (Booth W2831, April 19–22). The service enables A/B watermarking on a per-event basis, with operators paying only for events where forensic watermarking is activated. Harmonic manages end-to-end orchestration, scalability, and service uptime. The solution is designed to help rights owners identify and mitigate illegal restreaming during live events. “As consumers increasingly turn to streaming to watch live events, our customers need powerful security solutions that are effortless to deploy and deliver strong business outcomes,” says Gil Rudge, Senior Vice President, Solutions and Americas Sales, Harmonic . “Through our long-standing collaboration with NAGRAVISION, we are delivering watermarking-as-a-service that eliminates complexity, lowers costs and activates only when needed. This is exactly the type of agile, event-based security model the market has been asking for.” “As our industry continues to face high levels of live sports piracy, our customers need solutions that deliver uncompromising security to protect their investments in premium content,” says Stéphane Le Dreau, SVP Global Product Management and Sales Development, NAGRAVISION . “Our expanded solution with Harmonic makes our well-established edge-based forensic watermarking accessible as an on-demand service that fits the operational realities of today’s major event streamers. It is the pragmatic innovation that the market needs as more live events are delivered via streaming.” Sharing Upcoming Events Top Stories Ratings Roundup: CBS Tees Up Best Masters Since 2015; NBA Sees Big Regular Season Increases By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 17, 2026 SVG GameDay, Ep. 11: Philadelphia Phillies' Arianna Krizek – Baseball at the Bank By: Kristian Hernández, Senior Editor Posted on: April 17, 2026 SVG Marks 20th Anniversary with Plan to Set Course for the Future Posted on: April 17, 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs 2026 ESPN Readies REMI/REMCO Blend, Expanded Camera Arsenal, HDR Finish for Stanley Cup Run By: Brandon Costa, Director of Digital Posted on: April 17, 2026 NAB 2026 Preview, North Hall: Everything You Need To Know Heading Into the Show Posted on: April 17, 2026 Cisco, NVIDIA Push Toward AI-Driven Media Fabrics as Next Evolution of Broadcast Infrastructure By: Brandon Costa, Director of Digital Posted on: April 17, 2026 NBA Playoffs 2026 NBC Sports Tips Off First NBA Playoffs Campaign in 23 Years With Six-Truck Fleet, Interchangeable Production Model By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 16, 2026 NBA Playoffs 2026 ESPN Enters First HDR Postseason With REMCO Support in New Bristol-Based Control Rooms By: Kristian Hernández, Senior Editor Posted on: April 16, 2026 SVG New Sponsor Spotlight: 4Wall Entertainment’s Dave Caulwell on Scaling Live Event Production for Sports By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 16, 2026 NAB 2026 Preview, West Hall: Everything You Need To Know Heading Into the Show Posted on: April 16, 2026 NAB 2026 NAB 2026: Inside Sony's Wide Range of New Offerings, From the New "R Series" Camera Lineup to Switchers, a New Software Platform, and More By: Ken Kerschbaumer, Editorial Director Posted on: April 16, 2026 SVG Students To Watch: Robbie Basel, Iona University By: Brandon Costa, Director of Digital Posted on: April 16, 2026 Read more Latest Headlines posts ADVERTISEMENT
