ADVERTISEMENT NAB 2026: Techex and MediaKind Integrate tx edge into MK.IO Beam Posted on: April 15, 2026 • 1 minute read Techex and MediaKind have announced a partnership to integrate Techex’s tx edge IP transport and orchestration technology into MK.IO Beam. The integration will be demonstrated at NAB Show 2026 at the Techex booth (W2267) and MediaKind booth (W1743), April 19–23. tx edge is a software-based IP transport and monitoring gateway providing resilient transport, network observability, and end-to-end orchestration. Integrated into MK.IO Beam as an edge device, it enables ingest, processing, and distribution of live content across unmanaged IP networks within a single platform. “MK.IO Beam changes the commercial model for on-premises contribution,” says Adrian Davis, Product Director, MediaKind . “PAYG licensing on commodity hardware means cost follows the work, not the infrastructure, giving broadcasters the freedom to scale up or stand down as the work demands.” “Reliable contribution and distribution over IP is one of the most critical challenges in modern broadcast,” says David Edwards, Product Manager, Techex . “As broadcasters move away from the cost and inflexibility of satellite, Techex’s tx edge enables robust, flexible stream delivery over unmanaged IP networks, while maintaining the reliability traditionally associated with satellite.” Sharing Upcoming Events Top Stories NBA Playoffs 2026 NBA Playoffs 2026: Prime Vision, Prime Insights Offer New Data-Driven Experiences for NBA Fans By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 15, 2026 NAB 2026 Preview, Central Hall: Everything You Need To Know Heading Into the Show Posted on: April 15, 2026 NAB 2026: Canon Sets New Benchmark with CINE-SERVO 40-1200m Lens; New Remote Camera Controller Supports Up to 200 Cameras By: Ken Kerschbaumer, Editorial Director Posted on: April 15, 2026 Boxing Clever: Whisper Talks Flames and Finesse for the Netflix Exclusive Fight Night of Fury Versus Makhmudov By: Heather McLean, Editor, SVG Europe Posted on: April 15, 2026 Automatic for the People: Live Graphics Evolve to Transform Real-Time Sports Storytelling By: mburns Posted on: April 15, 2026 SVG Announces Sports AI Innovation Lab to Advance the Use of AI in Live Production Posted on: April 14, 2026 Taming the Untamed: Producing the 2026 Absa Cape EPIC Mountain-Bike Race By: Mark J Burns, SVG Contributor Posted on: April 14, 2026 Thomas Riedel Acquires ARRI, Adding Camera and Lighting Component to Riedel Group Portfolio By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 14, 2026 SVG New Sponsor Spotlight: Stripe TV's Matthew Pavey on Making Live-Production Tech More Portable, Intuitive, and Accessible By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 14, 2026 SVG Sit-Down: Techex’s Tim Jackson on Navigating the Evolving World of Live Sports Broadcasting By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 14, 2026 MLB on ESPN Begins 1080p HDR Distribution on Jackie Robinson Day in Los Angeles By: Kristian Hernández, Senior Editor Posted on: April 14, 2026 ESPN Returns to The Shed for 2026 WNBA Draft, Expanding Camera Arsenal and Deepening Fan Coverage By: Jason Dachman, Editorial Director, U.S. Posted on: April 13, 2026 Read more Latest Headlines posts ADVERTISEMENT
