The agreement will bring Taittinger’s champagne range and English sparkling wine to exclusive hospitality areas at St. James’ Park and selected club events. Under the agreement, guests will be able to enjoy Taittinger Brut Réserve and Prestige Rosé, alongside Domaine Evremond Classic Cuvée, during matchdays and special occasions throughout the season. The partnership follows Newcastle United’s reported £10 million investment in transforming the stadium’s hospitality facilities over the summer, underlining the club’s focus on elevating the premium matchday experience. Newcastle United’s Chief Revenue Officer, Dave O’Connor , said, “The Taittinger family has a long and proud history of partnering with some of the world’s most prestigious sporting events. We are delighted that they have chosen to continue their football journey with Newcastle United. “Their decision to partner with us is a reflection of the ambition we have as a club and our commitment to consistently raising the bar. We look forward to working together as we set new benchmarks for luxury matchday hospitality at St James’ Park and create exceptional experiences for our fans”. Taittinger’s UK Director, Mills Easby, added, “The Taittinger Family are delighted to be partnering with Newcastle United, a club that is not only an icon of English Football but one that sits so solidly as the beating heart of the North East. It is an immensely exciting time to be getting involved at St. James’ Park, and we look forward to sharing some truly memorable moments with you all.” Commercially, the partnership aligns Taittinger with a prominent Premier League club while providing access to Newcastle United’s premium hospitality audience. For the club, the agreement adds another luxury brand to its commercial portfolio and complements its investment in facilities designed to attract corporate guests and high-value hospitality customers. On the pitch, Newcastle United responded to a 1-0 home defeat against Aston Villa by beating Crystal Palace 2-0 away on October 25. The victory left the Magpies eighth in the Premier League table with 11 points from eight matches. They face Everton away in the Carabao Cup on October 29 before hosting the same opponents in the league on November 2.
