Now they’re being offered something a little different. A chance to invest in one of the businesses being built around the sport. Ace Pickleball Club Media (APCM) has opened a Regulation Crowdfunding offering that allows eligible members of the public to purchase equity in the company behind Beyond The Bounce, Courtside XP and HI Digital Group. And the bigger idea isn’t simply to launch another pickleball publication. APCM is betting that the millions of people who play pickleball have become a valuable audience of their own—and that there is a larger business opportunity in connecting those players with content, brands and experiences both online and at the courts. Three Businesses, One Bigger Idea APCM is 51% owned by Ace Pickleball Club’s parent company and operates three businesses designed to work together. Beyond The Bounce is the media arm. The platform plans to cover pickleball across digital media, newsletters, podcasts, social, streaming and other channels, with content extending beyond tournament results. Courtside XP takes that audience into the real world, giving brands opportunities to reach pickleball players through advertising inside physical locations, product sampling, events, sponsorships and experiential campaigns. HI Digital Group rounds out the model with digital marketing services designed to help brands build audiences and drive growth. Put those three pieces together and the strategy starts to make sense. Create the content. Build the audience. Connect brands with that audience. Then bring those connections into the places where people actually play. Ace Pickleball Club Already Has an Audience Starting a media company usually means starting with one very difficult question: How do you get people to pay attention? APCM isn’t exactly starting from zero. According to company materials, Ace Pickleball Club’s growing ecosystem currently includes more than 25,000 members, 200,000 email subscribers, 2.5 million annual website visits, 1.5 million annual club visits and 40,000 social followers. That’s a significant built-in audience to introduce to new content, experiences and brand partnerships. It’s also part of what makes this more interesting than the launch of another pickleball website. APCM is attempting to connect a physical network of pickleball players with a digital media business. APCM Opens Its Investment Offering to the Public APCM could have gone looking exclusively for wealthy investors or traditional institutional capital. Instead, it’s also opening the opportunity to the public. The company is raising money through Regulation Crowdfunding, an SEC-regulated structure that allows eligible members of the public to invest in private companies. This is an investment in Ace Pickleball Club Media. It is not an investment in individual Ace Pickleball Club locations. And like any investment in an early-stage private company, there is risk. APCM was formed in 2026 and is still an early-stage business. Potential investors should review the company’s complete offering materials and risk disclosures before making any investment decision. Why Use Regulation Crowdfunding? There’s an interesting philosophy behind that decision. APCM founder and CEO Jay Diederich says he wants the pickleball community itself to have an opportunity to participate in what the company is building. Rather than limiting ownership opportunities to traditional institutional or accredited investors, the crowdfunding structure gives a broader group of investors—including members of the pickleball community—the ability to consider participating in the offering. Whether that opportunity makes sense for any individual investor is a separate question, and one that requires reviewing the company’s full offering materials and risks. Pickleball Business Is Getting Bigger Than the Game That’s ultimately the bet APCM is making. Pickleball’s economic opportunity doesn’t end when a player walks off the court. The sport has created communities, audiences and consumers—and an entirely new group of businesses is emerging to serve them. We’ve watched pickleball evolve from a recreational activity into a professional sport, a club industry, a tourism driver and a rapidly growing consumer category. Media may be one of the next pieces of that evolution. And APCM is making an interesting bet: The game happens on the court. But some of pickleball’s biggest business opportunities may happen beyond it.
