The agreement spans both the club’s AFL and AFLW programs, aligning one of the state’s most storied sporting institutions with a health insurer that has operated in South Australia for over 85 years. The partnership focuses on a “members-first” commercial strategy, providing tangible value to the Port Adelaide faithful. As a core benefit of the deal, club members will receive a 10 per cent discount on all merchandise at the Port Store located at the recently redeveloped Alberton Oval. Noting how the partnership was an “organic fit” given the shared focus on community health, head of marketing at Health Partners, Wade Stokes, said: “Footy is part of our DNA here in SA.” “We’re looking forward to working with Port Adelaide to promote a better state of health and wellbeing for all South Australians—whether that’s on the field, in the stands, or out in the community,” Stokes said. Highlighting the cultural synergy between the two organisations, Port Adelaide CEO, Matthew Richardson, added: “Health Partners is a great South Australian brand that truly values its members, and that alignment provides a strong foundation for this partnership,” Richardson said. “This brings together two proud South Australian organisations with a shared commitment to promoting our state.” For Health Partners, the collaboration serves as a high-visibility platform to reinforce its local heritage. The brand will be integrated into Port Adelaide’s match-day experience at Adelaide Oval and across the club’s expansive digital network.
