PRINCIPAL PARTNER TO CONTINUE Queensland Country Bank Extends Deal

Queensland Country Bank and the Brisbane Heat have announced an extension of their Principal Partnership, securing the relationship through to the 2027–28 Big Bash season. Today’s announcement comes on the eve of the start of this summer’s Big Bash, with the Heat getting their Weber Women’s Big Bash League campaign underway tomorrow night at Allan Border Field when they host the Sydney Sixers. The extension reinforces the shared commitment between two proudly Queensland organisations dedicated to supporting communities, creating meaningful connections, and delivering exceptional experiences for cricket fans across the state. As part of the extended agreement, Queensland Country Bank will continue to feature prominently on the front of the Brisbane Heat's playing and training apparel, while maintaining a strong presence across key stadium signage assets, digital campaigns, and a range of integrated partnership opportunities. Among the fan-favourite initiatives to emerge from the partnership has been the $50K Your Way competition , giving one lucky supporter the chance to take home a life-changing $50,000 cash prize. The promotion has generated significant excitement among Heat fans, providing another touchpoint for Queensland Country Bank to engage directly with communities across the state. Queensland Cricket CEO, Terry Svenson, said the extension reflected the strength of the partnership and the alignment between both organisations. "Queensland Country Bank has become an invaluable part of the Brisbane Heat family and we're thrilled to extend our partnership through to the 2027-28 season,’’ he said. "Since joining us as Principal Partner, Queensland Country Bank has embraced every opportunity to engage with our members, fans and communities, while helping us grow the game and deliver memorable experiences on and off the field. "The partnership is built on shared values, a commitment to Queensland communities, and a desire to make a positive impact. We're excited to continue building on that success together over the coming years," Svenson said. Queensland Country Bank Chief Executive Officer Aaron Newman said the extension was a natural progression of a partnership built on shared values and a genuine connection to Queensland communities. "Queensland Country Bank and the Brisbane Heat have a lot in common. We're both proudly Queensland, we're passionate about our communities, and we understand the importance of bringing people together," Mr Newman said. "Cricket has an extraordinary ability to connect Queenslanders, whether it's families watching the Heat, young players dreaming of pulling on the teal jersey, or communities coming together around their local clubs.” "We’re incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Queensland Cricket and the Brisbane Heat through to the end of the 2027-28 season. It enables us to grow our brand, connect meaningfully with current and future Members, and support communities across the state. “With such strong alignment between our organisations, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead and what we can continue to achieve together.” The extension ensures Queensland Country Bank remains at the forefront of the Brisbane Heat brand as the club continues towards on-field success over the next two summers.
