Ryder Cup tickets on sale but fans fume at 'bonkers' record daily price at Adare Manor It's the highest ever price for a European venue hosting the competition and golf fans here are already hitting out over the cost Comments Oisin Doherty 13:23, 22 Apr 2026 Updated 13:24, 22 Apr 2026 View 2 Images Rory McIlroy celebrates winning the Ryder Cup with Team Europe (Image: ©INPHO/Matthew Harris) Daily tickets for next year's Ryder Cup at Adare Manor will set fans back €499, marking a record high for a European host venue. The staggering sum far exceeds the cost of single-day tickets for the Rome event in 2023, when supporters paid €260 for entry. However, it remains notably cheaper than the €638 spectators forked out for daily admission at Bethpage Black in New York last year. Irish fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets from this Friday, April 24th, during an exclusive priority window, with the remainder of the world able to buy tickets from the start of June. Practice day tickets (Tuesday September 14th and Wednesday September 15th) are priced at €89 for adults and €20 for under-16s. Attending the opening ceremony (Thursday September 16th) will cost adult fans €179, while under-16s can gain entry for €30, reports the Irish Mirror . "Was looking at going to The Ryder Cup next year but those ticket prices are a disgrace. £400 a tournament day is farcical," fumed one golf fan on social media. "I love Golf. I love the Ryder cup too but €500 GA is absolutely bonkers. I can't get my head around it for a family or any individual who wants to enjoy the event," said another. "€499 for Ryder Cup tickets. Yeah, let’s not. Absolute rip off," posted another fan. Next year's tournament marks the 100th anniversary of the inaugural Ryder Cup, with approximately 250,000 fans from Ireland and across the globe expected to converge on Adare Manor. Luke Donald's Europe will be bidding to clinch a third consecutive Ryder Cup title, with two-time Masters champion Rory McIlroy anticipated to spearhead the challenge on home soil. Ireland has previously hosted the event just once, at the K-Club in 2006, when Ian Woosnam's Europe defeated Team USA by 18.5 points to 9.5 points — a record winning margin for Europe. Richard Atkinson, the European Tour Group's Chief Ryder Cup Officer, said: "There is already tremendous excitement and anticipation about the Ryder Cup heading back to Ireland and to Adare Manor next year. "We are therefore delighted to announce these details today of how fans both from the island of Ireland and from around the world, can attend the 100th anniversary edition of golf's greatest team competition. For the first time, there will also be an Official Ryder Cup campsite with entertainment, full details of which will be announced in due course. "We also wanted to ensure that as wide a demographic as possible can be part of, and enjoy, this major global sporting event. Therefore, in addition to a range of different price points for fans, we are grateful to Musgrave, whose support means families from across the island of Ireland will have access to tickets as part of the SuperValu Community Day on the Tuesday of Ryder Cup week." Earlier this week, Adare Manor unveiled its exclusive 2027 Ryder Cup merchandise range, and those prices also left many stunned. Given the prestige of the event - golf's biggest spectacle - and the setting - one of the world's most opulent hotels, premium pricing might be anticipated. However, the Adare Manor collection has still succeeded in turning heads, with even the most basic pieces carrying substantial price tags that are likely to make many golf enthusiasts pause before opening their wallets. The priciest piece in the range is a Rain Walker jacket, manufactured by Peter Millar, which carries a €650 (£565) price tag.
