Scott Sports Appoints Hsuan Boon Tan as Co-CEO March 30, 2026 SGB Update Scott Sports, the manufacturer of bike equipment and sporting goods, announced today that Hsuan Boon Tan will serve as co‑CEO, shown right, alongside existing co‑CEO Pascal Ducrot, shown left, effective immediately. Tan will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Switzerland. Scott Sports is owned by the South Korean group Youngone Corporation, which acquired full control of the brand in 2025. Hsuan Boon Tan succeeds Juwon Kim, who returns to South Korea to focus on Youngone’s Strategy and Investment division. Juwon Kim was appointed co‑CEO alongside Pascal Ducrot in August 2024. Pascal Ducrot, a 35‑year veteran of Scott, will continue as co‑CEO with Hsuan Boon Tan. Both Juwon Kim and Hsuan Boon Tan will continue serving on Scott’s board of directors. Pascal Ducrot will also be appointed to the Scott board. “It has been a pleasure to work with Juwon Kim during a transformative period for Scott over the past two years. I’m looking forward to now collaborating with Hsuan Boon Tan, whose deep understanding of the Scott organization will support our continued growth and bring us even closer to our parent company, Youngone,” said Ducrot. “It has been incredibly fulfilling to help prepare Scott for its next phase of growth. I am proud to have witnessed first‑hand the commitment and energy of colleagues around the world,” said Kim. “Having served on the Board of Scott for more than two years, I have always been impressed by the passion of the Scott team. Now that I am based at the headquarters in Switzerland, I experience this drive every day. I look forward to working with Youngone and the entire Scott organization as we shape the future of our company and honor its proud heritage,” said Tan. Hsuan Boon Tan brings extensive experience in corporate governance and commercial litigation, as well as long-standing expertise across both Youngone and Scott. Most recently, he served as Youngone’s head of Legal and Compliance, following earlier roles in private legal practice in Singapore. He has been a member of the Scott Board for two years, playing a central role in stabilizing the business after disruptions to the bike industry during and after the COVID pandemic, and in guiding the organization back to a positive growth trajectory. In addition, Tan’s proximity to Youngone, as well as his experience across strategic focus areas shared by both organizations — apparel, footwear, and the broader outdoor sector — supports Scott’s deeper integration into Youngone’s global portfolio. The company said in a media release that Tan’s“International leadership background is essential to Scott’s worldwide footprint and expansion ambitions, while his strategic capabilities add new strengths to lead Scott into its next chapter of growth.” Images courtesy Scott Sports
