For more than a decade, we have worked together to transform state school cricket in Sussex, creating outstanding opportunities for young people both on and off the pitch. Today, BACA is recognised as one of the country’s leading state school cricket programmes, with students benefiting from exceptional coaching, facilities and pathways into the game. Led by former England Head Coach Mark Robinson and supported by Sussex Cricket, the programme continues to go from strength to strength. A particular source of pride is BACA’s girls’ cricket programme for Years 7–11 — the only programme of its kind in a state school anywhere in the country — helping to grow the women’s game and develop the next generation of talent. As the Aldridge Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary, we are proud to continue working with Aldridge Education, Sussex Cricket and the Sussex Cricket Foundation to inspire young people through sport, education and opportunity. “The cricket programme at BACA has demonstrated the power of cricket to develop attributes which enable our students not only to perform well on the pitch but to prepare well for a fulfilling and successful life.” — Sir Rod Aldridge, Founder of the Aldridge Foundation https://lnkd.in/e4H54Szt #AldridgeFoundation #AldridgeEducation #SussexCricket #SussexCricketFoundation #BACA #Cricket #GirlsCricket #WomenInSport #SchoolSport #Partnership #Sussex 6 Like Comment Share Copy LinkedIn Facebook X To view or add a comment, sign in
