The iconic Tennent’s Sixes returns next weekend (October 3-4), when a team of Celtic cult heroes will compete for the cult trophy at Braehead Arena. Today we are delighted to announce the club’s official back of shirt sponsor for the tournament, Union Technical - a leading, accredited provider of renewable, insulation, and heating solutions in the UK. Recognised for high-quality installations in individual homes and large-scale projects alike, the company formed in Glasgow in 2014 and are partnering in support of Celtic for the Tennent’s Sixes tournament. The Saturday group stages will feature three regionalised groups of four, with each group winner and runner-up progressing to the knockout stages alongside the two best third-placed teams. Every match will produce a winner, with a bonus point awarded for a penalty shoot-out victory if the game finishes level, while the famous sin bin will also make its return. The Union Technical logo will feature on the back of the famous green and white jerseys, being worn by the likes of Aiden McGeady, Simon Donnelly and Charlie Mulgrew as they fight for the trophy across two days. VISIT UNION TECHNICAL Celtic Football Club would like to thank Michael Sweeney and Owen Coyle for their personal support of the club and wish them and their colleagues at Union Technical every success.
