Tickets for Wales' inaugural home matches in the Nations Championship have officially gone on sale, with the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) encouraging fans to purchase them quickly. The WRU is introducing a unique initiative where a portion of each ticket sale will be donated to a Welsh rugby club of the buyer's choice, aiming to strengthen ties between the national team and grassroots rugby. This tournament features top teams from both the northern and southern hemispheres, and Wales will host Japan, New Zealand, and Australia at the Principality Stadium in November.

The first edition of the new biennial 12-team tournament kicks off in July, pitting the best sides from the northern and southern hemisphere against each other. Wales join fellow Six Nations sides England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy in representing the north, with the southern hemisphere represented by the Rugby Championship teams - Australia, Argentina, South Africa and New Zealand - as well as Fiji and Japan. Steve Tandy's side will travel to Argentina and South Africa during the first round of fixtures in the summer, having also played an 'away' game against Fiji at the Cardiff City Stadium. Tickets for those Principality Stadium matches have now gone on general sale, with the WRU encouraging supporters to act quickly to snap them up. For the visit of Japan on November 7, standard tickets start at £26 with prices rising to £66 for A+ seats. For under-18s, tickets start at £13.50, rising to £23.50 while dedicated student tickets are either £22 to £25.50. Unsurprisingly, the All Blacks clash a week later is the most expensive of the three fixtures, with standard tickets starting at £68 and rising to £128. In terms of concessions, under-18 tickets range from £35.50 to £55.50 and student tickets are priced between £55.50 and £62.50. Standard tickets for the final fixture against Australia on November 21 start at £38 and rise to £78, with under-18 tickets priced between £20.50 and £30.50. Students, meanwhile, can pick up tickets for either £31 or £34.50. For the first time, the WRU has offered supporters the chance to select a Welsh rugby club of their choice to receive a £2 contribution from every ticket purchased, in a "direct investment into Welsh rugby from the ground up". “We are incredibly excited about the inaugural Nations Championship and the opportunity it brings to reinforce the connection between our national team and the grassroots game," said the WRU's Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Gavin Marshall. “For the first time, supporters can directly give back to their local clubs and reward their roots just by securing their seats for what promises to be a memorable autumn.” Wales' home Nations Championship fixtures ticket details in full: Wales v Japan (Saturday, November 7) CAT A+ £66, CAT A £46 /U18s £23.50, CAT B £41, CAT C £36/ Students £25.50/ U18s £18.50, CAT AFZ C £36/ Students £25.50/ U18s £18.50, CAT D £31 /Students £22/ U18s £16, CAT AFZ D £31 / Students £22/ U18s £16, CAT E £26 /U18s £23.50 Wales v New Zealand (Saturday, November 14) CAT A+ £128 CAT A £108 /U18s £55.50, CAT B £98, CAT C £88/ Students £62.50/ U18s £45.50, CAT AFZ C £88/ Students £62.50/ U18s £45.50, CAT D £78 /Students £55.50/ U18s £40.50, CAT AFZ D £78 /Students £55.50/ U18s £40.50, CAT E £68 /U18s £35.50 Wales v Australia (Saturday, November 21) CAT A+ £78, CAT A £58 /U18s £30.50, CAT B £53, CAT C £48/ Students £34.50/ U18s £25.50, CAT AFZ C £48/ Students £34.50/ U18s £25.50, CAT D £43 /Students £31/ U18s £23, CAT AFZ D £43 /Students £31/ U18s £23, CAT E £38 /U18s £20.50 Article continues below Follow all of our channels to ensure you stay up to date with the latest Welsh rugby news.
