As part of the announcement, Williams has appointed Anthropic’s AI assistant Claude as its official thinking partner. The collaboration will see Claude integrated across performance analysis, engineering workflows and strategic decision-making, supporting the team’s efforts to process complex data more effectively and accelerate learning in a highly competitive Formula 1 environment. The partnership underlines Williams’ growing focus on advanced technology and human-AI collaboration as key performance enablers in modern F1, where marginal improvements in insight, speed and decision quality can translate into competitive advantage. Alongside the Anthropic agreement, Williams has also confirmed a multi-year partnership with BNY, which becomes the team’s official institutional banking partner. Under the arrangement, BNY will provide institutional banking support across Williams’ global operations, including payments, liquidity management and treasury services tailored to the demands of a highly mobile international racing calendar. With F1 events staged across more than 20 markets worldwide, teams operate complex multi-currency financial structures that require precision, reliability and speed. BNY’s services will support Williams throughout the season, covering cash management, supplier payments and cross-border financial coordination. Both partnerships include branding and visibility across the Atlassian Williams F1 Team’s race weekend environments, hospitality platforms and digital channels throughout the Formula One calendar. Williams will also leverage its global hospitality programme to engage partners and clients at selected Grands Prix. Together, the agreements reflect Williams’ continued commercial repositioning under Atlassian , with an emphasis on long-term, value-driven relationships that extend beyond traditional sponsorship to enhance organisational capability, scalability and resilience. As F1 continues to evolve into a sophisticated global business ecosystem, Atlassian Williams F1 Team is positioning itself at the intersection of technology, finance and performance, building a partner platform designed to support sustained competitiveness on and off the track.
